Blog Site Statistics

As the month ended I have made an overview of how my site has done during October.
I will show you the most important metrics from my blogging experience so you can see how I am progressing.

For now my site is doing ok, I have visitors that come from Google as organic visitors, but I also have visitors from portals and social sites.

I had few articles published on the mail forum which serves as a hub for news publishing. It is also the largest and well known forum in this niche which tells me that my work and skills are good.
I need to continue doing what I am doing. At least I think. I am doing it all myself by reading forums all over the Internet.

I had several articles submitted, but they were not published. For now I do not know what are the rules by which the articles are published.  It seems that I am left to editors’ hands and if I am lucky I will have my article published.

I get around 1000 visitors in one day through that one article. If I could have one article published each day I would be very happy which would mean I get 30 000 visitors on a monthly basis only from this forum.

I have published one article this month. Usually I have a posting schedule of one article each 2 weeks.
But I had one period where I decided to speed publishing periods.
I have decided to publish one article each week because I have 30+articles ready.

I have made this reserve for making an online course so I do not have any distractions. And while these articles are for long tail keywords I am expecting to get some more organic visitors.

In the last two months I have published a few articles that are with long tail keywords and with low search volume, around 100 per month, and I see results very quickly.
Some of those articles are on the first place and others are below 10th position on google.
That means the work is paying off so that is why I have decided to speed up the publishing process.

Let’s see what the monthly overview shows me.
I have increased the number of keywords. Monthly search volume has increased also and the domain number referring to me has increased.

Bounce rate has decreased

Number of visitors is almost the same

Time on site is increased

Google Search Console Statistics

Here is overview how the site was doing in October 2020.

What you can see is that I have small click through rate CTR which is not good. I need to improve this section, but for now I am working on the online course so this will not be my focus.

I have one article per week published so I hope it will help increase this statistics.
